Product Description
Optima font metal letters. This font was created in the 1950’s by German typeface designer Hermann Zapf. Zapf is also credited with creating the famous Palatino font. This font was designed in a classic roman style without serifs. The beauty in Optima is the slight flaring of its stroke terminals. It has wide, full-bodied characters in its design, especially in the uppercase. Only the E, F and L deviate with narrow forms. This font is best known for its use on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Optima Trivia: This font is very popular in the cosmetics market.
