On a recent warm sunny day, the staff was enjoying lunch at the Atlas Signs and Plaques picnic table. We soon had a very fun visit from a good sized Praying Mantis! We hadn’t seen one this big before and enjoyed him hanging out most of the afternoon. Fun things to know and tell: Mantises are kept as pets in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the United States. There are 2,400 species and some folks with pet Mantises also breed them. Hands down, Chuck wins Employee of the Month for July! He has been burning and churning out signs like its nothing! He deserves a week's vacation for sure! But sorry to say, that just can't happen.
